Burkina Faso Prime Minister has announced that Burkina Faso has effectively become a one-party state — with the nation itself as the only “party.”
Speaking today, the Prime Minister stated:
“Today we have only one political party. This is Burkina Faso.”
This comes after the military junta under Captain Ibrahim Traoré formally dissolved and banned all existing political parties earlier this year, scrapping multi-party democracy in favor of total national unity under the transitional government.
No more opposition. No more division.
Just one Burkina Faso.
Critics call it the death of democracy. Supporters hail it as the ultimate Pan-African revolution — putting the country and its people first, above Western-style politics.
