In 2019, 18-year-old Berfin Özek from Turkey was attacked with acid by her ex-boyfriend Casim Ozan Çeltik — an act that left her scarred and changed forever.
While serving his sentence, Casim began sending her emotional letters, claiming he still loved her, begging for forgiveness, and promising to change.
And shockingly… Berfin forgave him. She even withdrew her complaint, leading to his release.
Not long after, in 2021, she married the same man who destroyed her life.
