Men w*cked sha
Yesterday evening, I was in the sitting room watching my favorite series when my husband suddenly joined me. I looked at him in surprise — this man doesn’t even like Korean movies, so what’s he doing here? But I kept quiet.
A few minutes later, he called my name softly.
“Sugar.”
“Hm?” I replied, my eyes still glued to the TV.
“Aren’t you feeling sleepy?” he asked in that calm, sneaky tone.
I turned to him, raising an eyebrow. “Sleepy? Am I a chicken that sleeps early? Abeg oh, I’m not ready to sleep yet.”
As soon as I said that, he scooted closer and slid his hand inside my clothes. That was when I realized his real reason for wanting me to “sleep early.” I rolled my eyes and gently pushed his hand away.
“Babe, abeg, allow me to watch my movie in peace,” I said, trying not to laugh.
He went quiet, and I thought that was the end of it—until I heard his voice again.
“Sugar, what do you want for Christmas?”
That one got my attention. I paused the movie and turned to face him, eyebrows raised. “Wait oh, aren’t you the same person who said no Christmas gifts this year? That you’re focusing on your building project?”
He chuckled softly, that mischievous smile creeping up his face.
“Winnie, my beautiful wife,” he said dramatically, “for you, I can do anything to make you happy.”
I smirked and tilted my head. “Hmm… are you sure you’re trying to make me happy, or just make yourself happy?”
“Sugar, stop all these long talks and just tell me what you want for Christmas,” he said, sounding a bit impatient.
I glanced down and noticed the obvious bulge in his black pants, and I couldn’t help but smirk. Men will always be men.
“Anyway,” I said, pretending not to notice, “I need a laptop for my writing — the new edition of the Apple MacBook.”
To my surprise, my husband nodded and, right there in front of me, ordered it from Jumia. I was honestly shocked that he could do that so easily. And just like that, an old memory from my childhood flashed in my mind.
Back then, one night when I was little, we were all watching an interesting movie when my dad started calling my mom from their bedroom. But my mom ignored him completely. We even begged her to go, but she said, ‘He should stop disturbing me joor.’
My dad got so angry that he went and switched off the generator — right when the movie was getting to the sweetest part.
That night, me and my siblings were furious and we all blamed my dad. But now, seeing my husband order that laptop while trying to get my attention, I finally understand how my father must have felt. Truly, my mama no do well that night. 😩
Anyway, back to the present — after he placed the order, I finally followed him inside. But guess what? We couldn’t do anything because my period decided to show up uninvited.
Long story short, oga canceled the laptop order and replaced it with a PS5. 😭
Tell me, is this not pure wickedness? 🥺🥺🥺
Me that was already dreaming of my new laptop.
