A dreaded Enwan warrior, Pa Arokhaime, turned into a white dove and escaped death after defending Somorika from invaders.

There was a time when the news of an attack on the people of Somorika was heard. Somorika had been a good neighbour with the people of Enwan who felt it was necessary to assist them in fighting against the people that were trying to squeeze themselves into the already crowded mountains which the Somorika people had refused to let in.

An Enwan man therefore volunteered to represent his community in a counter attack against the people of Somorika. His name was Pa Arokhaime. He was a dreaded warrior from Imiogbodogu kindred.

The attackers had come from the Ikare axis. Pa Arokhaime had a cave-full of charms and could manipulate the course of nature. He was dreaded by all.

Sharply, he arrived the scene of the fight and joined camp with the Somorika people. After a serious battle, victory was recorded by the Somorika Community but Pa Arokhaime who was on his way back to his home-zone was ambushed and captured by the Yoruba escapees.

He was tied down and was to be taken home for sacrifice by the Yoruba warriors.

Against the talisman of the Enwan warrior, the leader of the escapees booted him on the ground. It was that time, Pa Arokhaime immediately turned to a white dove and flew far away from his captors.

While his people were wondering why he had still not arrived, he perched on Okeshi rock and turned to the human being whom he was.

When his ordeal with the warriors was narrated, the people celebrated and eulogized their gods and ancestors for the protection they accorded their son.
Afterwards, messages of gratitude were sent from Somorika to Enwan Community for the show of love.
